I'm a longtime resident of Vancouver's North Shore where I completed the IDEA (Illustration, Design, Elements and Applications) program at Capilano University. The Wall–to–Wall Sound exhibit showcases famous speeches from the past, using only typography and a limited colour palette. This poster, showcasing JFK’s famous speech about going to the moon, won the GDC Adobe systems scholarship in a nation wide student contest.
This direct mail piece is based on a mock calendar which presents the reader with a vision of the earth in the year 2050. Each month a factual statement reveals something that will be lost from our environment by that year. In the end the reader is left with nothing except the donation form asking if they will help create a good future for our planet.
Soak is a line of products created for a store’s private label. Their contemporary aesthetic and quirky messaging appeals to a young yet broad audience. The fun messages on the packaging remind the customer that taking a relaxing shower or bath should be part of everyone’s day.
Rhino is a company that makes the toughest gymnastics accessories; However, it was important to create a logo that still conveyed the finess and smoothness of the sport. These beautiful movements were the inspiration for the Rhino “R”.
The power of knowledge is a Corporate Social Responsibility Report created for a local electrical utility. Common electrical items are used in the illustrations showing how the company is integrated with the local community.
Coral Grill specializes in serving sustainable seafood. The white and blue is reminiscent of the waters where the fish are caught. It is also evocative of the environments the company works so hard to preserve.
This wordmark was created for the Reflections Vancouver fund-rasing project. The dots making up the word mark represent the unique communities that can be found within greater Vancouver.
